Scott Weintraub obtained his AB in Spanish from Dartmouth College and his Ph.D. in Spanish and Latin American Literatures from Emory University.  He currently teaches language, literature, and culture courses in the Department of Romance Languages at the University of Georgia, where his research focuses on 20th- and 21st-century Spanish and Latin American literature. 

Scott’s articles have appeared in prominent U.S, Latin American and European journals, and he has edited special issues of journals in the U.S., Chile and Norway. Scott also edited an e-book dedicated to new approaches to the work of avant-garde poet Vicente Huidobro (Huidobro’s Futurity: 21st-Century Approaches; University of Minnesota Press), and he is currently working on a book titled Juan Luis Martínez and the Aesthetics of the Illegible.
